Engaging all students at all times within one classroom can seem overwhelming at times. Implementing new grading systems, using a uniformed rubric for everything that receives a great, and allowing students multiple opportunities to demonstrate learning seems like a large time commitment. We have done all of the above, and seemed to change our learners thinking and conversations around content. It's now about the learning and not about the grade.
