We will discuss the "Notice & Note: Nonfiction" Reading Strategies and how incorporating them in the content area classroom improves reading comprehension and discussion. Strategies will mainly focus on ELA and Social Studies but will include instructional practices for other content areas as well. Teachers will walk away with an overview of the nonfiction signposts identified in the "Reading Nonfiction: Notice & Note" text.
