How to practice mindfulness in small group circles and in the classroom. During mindfulness in small group circles and in the classroom students focus on the development of mindfulness, which is a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, emotions, sensations and surrounding environment. Mindfulness can help enhance our student's capacity to access deep states of ease, peace and compassion. Mindfulness benefits include, but are not limited to: attention, compassion, emotional regulation, calming, adaptability and resilience.
We will be learning about mindfulness, the foundational elements to facilitate mindfulness effectively and practice mindful activities together.
